There was no one attribute that shot Real Electronic e-cigs to the top of our electronic cigarette reviews, but there were no real drawbacks to them either. They were a solid product with a good taste. They also have a strong three-piece e-cigarette, in addition to their two-piece offerings.
REC has two different lines of e-cigs, at two different price levels. Their top-level brand is called Duo Pro and each of the kits comes with two batteries, five cartridges, a USB charger and AC adapter. The higher-level kit also includes 10 extra cartridges, a car charger and carrying case. The “economy” brand is SmokePass, which also comes with two batteries, five cartridges, and USB/AC charger, with the e-cig not lasting quite as long as the Duo Pro, but at a much lower price. We thought that the Real Electronic had a nice taste, without some of the sweet aftertaste you find with some lower-priced e-cigarettes; the draw was smooth as well with a mild throat hit and above-average vapor clouds.
If you opt for the Duo Pro, there is a pretty good selection of flavors available: tobacco, cuban cigar, menthol, vanilla, coffee, chocolate and cherry; the nicotine levels are the standard zero, ultra-light, light and full flavor (but the full flavor has the less common 16mg of nicotine, rather than 18). Four different battery colors are also available with the Duo Pro. The cartridges and batteries lasted about a pack equivalent, around average for the electronic cigarettes we’ve reviewed.
For those who prefer a three-piece system, the Vapor King Storm from REC is a really strong product. The construction is good and the draw is easy. And if you prefer the three-piece in order to fill the e-cig with your own choices of e-liquid, Real Electronic offers 14 different flavors, from the ones available in their two-piece cartridges, to cola, strawberry, apple, grape and more. They have extra large bottles of e-liquid at good prices, in addition to the standard size bottles.
There’s a rewards club for regular buyers that gives you free stuff, and a one-year warranty on their products; a solid offering you should consider if you’re looking for a quality middle-of-the-road e-cig.

Chase IvosiApril 5, 2012 I’ve got to admit – I bought the PureCig just buaecse it was on TV. Travis Stork actually tried it on “The Doctors” and I have a massive crush on him. I am a smoker and always feel bad when they talk about how bad smoking is on this show. So then they do the special on ecigs and Travis actually USED THE ECIG right on stage. I was like, “I gotta have one NOW.” I ordered it and was actually surprised at how good it tasted. It’s not too different from regular smoking except I cough less and it’s cheaper. Thanks TRAVIS STORK and thanks PureCig. You are my two loves… haha!
